Sycamore Fund-The-Field Payoff Announcement
Sycamore vs. Oak Hills Football Game
just over two years ago, the entire Sycamore community joined together in an effort to improve the athletic facilities at the high school by converting the playing surface from grass to an all-weather, field-turf surface.
TriHealth came on board as Sycamore’s official sports medicine and rehab partner, serving the needs of all our athletes. Their 10-year, $455,000 commitment provided the initial investment for the high school turf renovation.
The Sycamore Athletic Boosters pledged the final $225,000 for completion of the turf project. The Boosters, along with Athletic Director Jim Stoll, created the Fund-the-Field capital campaign. And thanks to the generous financial support of parents, alums, and Sycamore staff, fund raising efforts have been completed well ahead of schedule.
The turf field is now in its second full year of use and has already hosted over 50 soccer, lacrosse and football games … plus daily practices and off-season conditioning. THANK YOU to everyone who supported this important project! It was possible only through the efforts of the entire Sycamore community.

Welcome to another great year of Aviators sports and our annual membership drive. Our student-athletes benefit from first-class facilities and receive the best training, conditioning, and equipment because of the financial support of our members and sponsors.
2013-14 was an incredible year at Sycamore. Boys Tennis and Girls Lacrosse both won Ohio state championships, the first time in over 20 years we’ve had multiple sports win state titles. Overall, Sycamore placed third in the Greater Miami Conference All Sports Trophy race, which, quite simply, means we perform at the highest levels in the city, region, and state.
The mission of the Sycamore Athletic Boosters Association (SAB) is to promote participation and excellence in athletics throughout the school district. With the help of the entire community, we funded several initiatives for all Aviator athletes, including:
- $150,000 towards the Sycamore High School Stadium field turf, which is in full use;
- $40,000 to support the Jr. High Green teams;
- $30,000 for weight and fitness equipment in the Gregory Center;
- $20,000 in new equipment for teams, facilities, and the training room.
This year our goal is to contribute $200,000 towards Sycamore sports…here’s how you can help:
